11000 miles on our 2014 Ram Tradesman and the alternator took a shit. So I took one in their bathroom when I picked it up today.
Glad I did, too. They didn't reset the radio stations or clock, and after I sprayed the windshield to clear the ice, the low washer fluid light came on.
It would have been nice if they had filled it.
Oh well, I filled the restroom. With stank.

I read your other post and thought you just went there daily to destroy the can for fun.
It makes more sense now.

We charge for washer fluid. Shit costs us money yo.
And when you said Tradesman, I was thinking Ram 1500, but clearly that's a Ram C/V.

We supply it as a courtesy. Besides, service gets 10% of the bill up to $34.97 for "shop supplies", so the $1.35 per gallon of washer fluid isn't hurting them any.
Source: I process all of our dealer's bills.

We're stingy with it. I even feel weird taking it for my car.

I worked at a hole in the wall oil change place out of high school, they were so cheap in the summer months they'd fill the 55 gallon washer fluid drum with water, and add a little blue food coloring.
Speaking of stingy....

I usually use mostly water in the summer, but that's stingy as fuck.
